Inclusion and Funding of the "Technology Transfer Empowerment Network - Science Agora" with €3,745,000 through the "Competitiveness 2021-2027" Program
We are pleased to announce that the project "Technology Transfer Empowerment Network - Science Agora" has been included in the "Competitiveness 2021-2027" Program.
The total funding of the project amounts to €3,745,000, of which NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) will receive €1,100,000.
The Science Agora Technology Transfer Network is composed of the National Technical University of Athens, the Athens University of Economics and Business, the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos," and the ATHENA Research Center. The Science Agora Network was created within the framework of the NSRF 2014-2020 Action and continues to represent a strong collaboration aimed at strengthening and optimizing technology transfer activities within the participating institutions, leveraging synergies and economies of scale.
As part of the second funding cycle, the Science Agora Network will implement, among others, the following actions:
A) Activities to mobilize researchers in technology transfer and the commercial exploitation of research.
B) Support for the entrepreneurial maturation of research teams and spin-offs of the institutions, as well as the dissemination of their research results to the market.
C) Promotion and networking activities through events, meetings, and other initiatives.
D) Capacity-building activities for the staff of the Technology Transfer Offices.
