Η εν λόγω Υποτροφία απευθύνεται σε μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές και υποψήφιους διδάκτορες με καταγωγή έως και δεύτερη γενιά από την

Κωνσταντινούπολη, την Ίμβρο και την Τένεδο. Οι υποτροφίες, ύψους έως και 8.000 ευρώ έκαστη, αφορούν το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2024-2025 ή το επόμενο, υπό την προϋπόθεση αποδοχής σε σχετικό πρόγραμμα σπουδών. Λήξη προθεσμίας υποβολής αιτήσεων 15 Μαρτίου 2025.

The National Technical University of Athens assumes first place for a second year in a row amongst Greek Higher Educational Institutions based on the quality criteria set by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education . This results from the ranking of institutions for 2024, which is published annually by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education regarding the financing of Greek Higher Educational InstitutionsNTUA consolidates its first place by confirming the high-quality standards that characterize Greece’s leading technological institution as a symbol of education, research and academic excellence and further reaffirm the institution’s commitment to further grow and contribute to the country and Greek society.

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, The Harokopio University and the Athens University of Economics and Business follow in the top 5 rankings.

The continuous improvement of the quality criteria regarding the connection with society, the labor market and the utilization of the knowledge produced, through targeted activity and in particular the Technology Transfer Office and the Training and Lifelong Learning Center, played an important role in confirming NTUA’s first place in the ranking of Greek universities for 2024

In addition, the NTUA continues to maintain its leadership position in the criteria related to research activity, research excellence and  performance of scientific staff, a position it has maintained in recent years due to the excellent research output of the institution's researchers combined with the funding acquired through competitive research programs at national and European level.

The confirmation from the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education comes for the National Technical University of Athens, after the institution's international distinctions both in the QS World University Rankings 2025 according to which the NTUA is ranked 1st in Greece and 321st in the world, while at the same time occupying enviable positions in global rankings, in individual criteria such as references per member of teaching and research staff (#132) and in the international recognition of the university itself (#204).

Προκηρύσσουμε τη χορήγηση, με επιλογή, δύο (02) υποτροφιών για πτυχιούχους καταγόμενους από τη Ζαγορά Πηλίου, μίας (01) υποτροφίας για πτυχιούχους καταγόμενους από
τις Σπέτσες και μία (01) υποτροφίας για πτυχιούχους καταγόμενους από την Πελοπόννησο για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2021-2022 σε βάρος των εσόδων του κληροδοτήματος ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΥ ΚΡΗΤΣΚΗ για
σπουδές Δεύτερου Κύκλου (μεταπτυχιακές) και Τρίτου Κύκλου (διδακτορικές) σε ημεδαπά Πανεπιστήμια. Oι ανωτέρω υποτροφίες χορηγούνται μετά την ολοκλήρωση του διαγωνισμού για
τη χορήγηση υποτροφιών για προπτυχιακές σπουδές για το ακαδ. έτος 2021-2022 καθώς προέκυψαν κενές θέσεις στις κατηγορίες καταγωγής εκ Ζαγοράς Πηλίου, Σπετσών και
Πελοποννήσου. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι υποβάλλουν ηλεκτρονική αίτηση για την κοινωφελή περιουσία από την οποία επιθυμούν να λάβουν υποτροφία, από τη Δευτέρα 3 Φεβρουαρίου 2025 έως και την Πέμπτη

Το ΕΜΠ προμηθεύτηκε δύο νέα αυτοκίνητα για την υπηρεσία φύλαξης στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου και την εν γένει εξυπηρέτηση των αναγκών του Ιδρύματος. Τα νέα αυτοκίνητα θα αντικαταστήσουν τα παλιά και με προβλήματα λειτουργίας υφιστάμενα οχήματα.

Το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών ανακοινώνει τη δημοσίευση προκήρυξης για τη χορήγηση πέντε (5) υποτροφιών για προπτυχιακές σπουδές στο εσωτερικό (ακαδ. έτους 2024-2025) με επιλογή, από τη δωρεά «Υποτροφίες Διονυσίου Αγγελόπουλου». H προθεσμία υποβολής αιτήσεων λήγει στις 21 Φεβρουαρίου 2025.

A delegation from Columbia University, led by Shih-Fu Chang, Dean of Engineering and Applied Science, accompanied by Georgios Deodatis, Vice Dean for Research at the School of Engineering and Applied Science and Keely Henderson, Vice Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, visited the facilities of the National Technical University of Athens.

The delegation of Columbia University was welcomed by the NTUA Rector, Professor Ioannis Chatzigeorgiou and attendees also included the following:

The meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two leading educational institutions and promoting joint initiatives in the fields of research, education and innovation. Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of the  Cooperation Agreement( Memorandum of Understanding) signed between Columbia University and NTUA. The parties exchanged views on expanding their cooperation, discussing in particular the promotion of joint research programs, student and academic exchange initiatives, as well as the organization of international scientific events.

The visit concluded in an excellent atmosphere, confirming the strong commitment of the two leading institutions to develop a strong collaboration promoting  scientific excellence and extroversion.
