Ενημέρωση σχετικά με το έργο «Ολική Ανακαίνιση της Παλαιάς Φοιτητικής Εστίας στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου»
Σε συνέχεια της από 27.12.2022 Απόφασης του Πρυτανικού Συμβουλίου του Ε.Μ.Π. περί έγκρισης υπαγωγής του έργου: «Ολική ανακαίνιση της Παλαιάς Φοιτητικής Εστίας στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου» στις διατάξεις του ν. 3389/2005 περί Σύμπραξης Δημόσιου & Ιδιωτικού Φορέα (ΣΔΙΤ) και την στη συνέχεια αυτής από 9.2.2023 Απόφαση της Διυπουργικής Επιτροπής Συμπράξεων Δημόσιου & Ιδιωτικού Φορέα περί έγκρισης της υπόψιν αίτησης υπαγωγής, αναζητήθηκε από τη Διοίκηση του ΕΜΠ η χρηματοδότηση των Συμβούλων για τη ΣΔΙΤ, κατά την έννοια του άρθρου 128 του ν.4412/16.
Η χρηματοδότηση των Συμβούλων για τη Σύμπραξη, επιτεύχθηκε μετά την από 20.3.2025 Απόφαση του Συμβουλίου Διοίκησης περί σκοπιμότητας υποβολής πρότασης χρηματοδότησης, την από 20.5.2025 Απόφαση του Υπουργού Παιδείας, Θρησκευμάτων & Αθλητισμού, περί ένταξης της Πράξης «Υπηρεσίες Συμβούλων για την υποστήριξη του ΕΜΠ μέχρι και την ανάδειξη του ΙΦΣ για το έργο ΣΔΙΤ: «Ολική ανακαίνιση της Παλαιάς Φοιτητικής Εστίας στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου» και την από 6.6.2025 Απόφαση του Αναπληρωτή Υπουργού Εθνικής Οικονομίας & Οικονομικών περί ένταξης της χρηματοδότησης των Συμβούλων στο Αναπτυξιακό Πρόγραμμα Δημοσίων Επενδύσεων (ΑΠΔΕ).
Η χρηματοδότηση ανέρχεται στο ποσόν των 523.180,80€ συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ και αφορά Τεχνικές, Νομικές και Οικονομοτεχνικές Υπηρεσίες Συμβούλων Σύνταξης Τευχών Δημοπράτησης και σχεδίου Σύμβασης Σύμπραξης, καθώς και επικουρία στην αξιολόγηση των προσφορών μέχρι την υπογραφή της σύμβασης για το έργο: «Ολική ανακαίνιση της Παλαιάς Φοιτητικής Εστίας στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου».
Το έργο ΣΔΙΤ για την Ολική Ανακαίνιση της Παλαιάς Φοιτητικής Εστίας ανέρχεται σε 49.095.038,52 με ΦΠΑ 24%.

Το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο ιδρύει το πρώτο στην Ελλάδα Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα με αντικείμενο την «Ανάλυση και Διαχείριση Επιδόσεων Πλοίων»
Η Ελληνική Ναυτιλία, πρωτοπόρος σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο, καλείται σήμερα να ανταποκριθεί σε σημαντικές προκλήσεις: τη βελτίωση της ενεργειακής απόδοσης, την τήρηση ολοένα αυστηρότερων περιβαλλοντικών κανονισμών και την αξιοποίηση των δυνατοτήτων της ψηφιακής τεχνολογίας.
Απαντώντας σε αυτές τις ανάγκες, το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (ΕΜΠ) και ειδικότερα η Σχολή Ναυπηγών Μηχανολόγων Μηχανικών, ανακοινώνουν την ίδρυση του νέου Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (ΠΜΣ) «Ανάλυση και Διαχείριση Επιδόσεων Πλοίων». Το πρόγραμμα προσφέρει έναν μοναδικό συνδυασμό θεωρητικής γνώσης και πρακτικής εφαρμογής, απευθυνόμενο σε διπλωματούχους μηχανικούς και επαγγελματίες του ναυτιλιακού τομέα που επιθυμούν να ενισχύσουν τις γνώσεις και τις δεξιότητές τους, αποκτώντας εξειδίκευση αιχμής που συνδυάζει ακαδημαϊκή κατάρτιση και εφαρμοσμένη έρευνα.
Η έναρξη του ΠΜΣ έχει προγραμματιστεί για τον Φεβρουάριο του 2026. Η διάρκεια σπουδών είναι τρία ακαδημαϊκά εξάμηνα και οδηγεί στην απόκτηση Διπλώματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (Master of Science, MSc). Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει δέκα υποχρεωτικά μαθήματα καθώς και εκπόνηση διπλωματικής εργασίας, καλύπτοντας θεματικές όπως:
- υδροδυναμική και ενεργειακή απόδοση,
- τεχνολογίες πρόωσης και καυσίμων,
- ανάλυση και διαχείριση λειτουργικών δεδομένων στόλων,
- περιβαλλοντικοί κανονισμοί και στρατηγικές συμμόρφωσης,
- απανθρακοποίηση και βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη.
Το πρόγραμμα έχει ήδη αξιολογηθεί από την Εθνική Αρχή για την Ανώτατη Εκπαίδευση (ΕΘΑΕΕ) και έλαβε πλήρη πιστοποίηση, κατατασσόμενο στην υψηλότερη βαθμίδα αξιολόγησης. Στην έκθεση της Επιτροπής Εξωτερικής Αξιολόγησης υπογραμμίστηκαν:
- η άρτια δομή και ο σαφής προσανατολισμός του προγράμματος,
- η ποιότητα και η διεθνής εμπειρία του διδακτικού προσωπικού,
- η στενή σύνδεση με τις ανάγκες της ελληνικής και διεθνούς ναυτιλίας,
- η συμβολή του στην εκπαίδευση στελεχών ικανών να στηρίξουν την πράσινη και ψηφιακή μετάβαση του κλάδου.
Με το νέο αυτό ΠΜΣ, το ΕΜΠ ενισχύει τον ρόλο του ως κέντρο αριστείας και καινοτομίας στη ναυπηγική εκπαίδευση και έρευνα, συμβάλλοντας στη διατήρηση και ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας της ελληνικής ναυτιλίας στο διεθνές περιβάλλον.

Η Σύγκλητος του Ιδρύματος (Συνεδρίαση 01.09.2025) αποφάσισενα χορηγηθείηΥποτροφία «Γιώργου Φρ. Ζωγραφάκη»ακαδ. έτους 2024 – 2025σε δύο φοιτητές της Σχολής Χημικών Μηχανικών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου λόγω ισοβαθμίας (9,80), τους κ.κ. Αντωνάκο Γεώργιο του Κωνσταντίνου και Κατσουγιάννη Θεόδωρο του Χρυσοβαλάντη, για τη συνέχιση και περάτωση των σπουδών τους, και να ισομοιραστεί το συνολικό ποσό αυτής.

Χορήγηση του «Βραβείου Αριστείας Δημήτριος Ι. Παντελής» έτους 2024
Η Σύγκλητος του Ιδρύματος (Συνεδρίαση 01.09.2025) αποφάσισε να χορηγηθεί το «Βραβείο Αριστείας Δημήτριος Ι. Παντελής» έτους 2024, στη Μνήμη του Καθηγητή Δημήτριου Ι. Παντελή της Σχολής Ναυπηγών Μηχανολόγων Μηχανικών του Ε.Μ.Π., στην κ. Σαβούρη Κωνσταντίνα του Παρασκευά, επειδή πληροί τις προϋποθέσεις αυτού.

Νέος προβολικός εξοπλισμός στα διδακτήρια της Σχολής Χημικών Μηχανικών
Στο πλαίσιο της συνεχιζόμενης προσπάθειας για την αναβάθμιση των εκπαιδευτικών υποδομών των Σχολών του ΕΜΠ, ολοκληρώθηκε πρόσφατα η εγκατάσταση σύγχρονων προβολικών συστημάτων σε δύο αμφιθέατρα και σε τέσσερις αίθουσες μεγάλων ακροατηρίων της Σχολής Χημικών Μηχανικών.
Οι πρωτοβουλίες για την εγκατάσταση σύγχρονου εξοπλισμού θα συνεχιστούν με στόχο τη δημιουργία ενός εύρυθμου, φιλόξενου και λειτουργικού περιβάλλοντος πρώτιστα για τους φοιτητές μας αλλά και όλη την Πολυτεχνειακή κοινότητα.
Δωρεά υλικών από τη VITEX Α.Ε. προς το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο
Το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο προχώρησε σε συμφωνία με τη VITEX A.E., τη μεγαλύτερη βιομηχανία χρωμάτων στην Ελλάδα στο πλαίσιο δράσεων που στοχεύουν στην αναβάθμιση των εκπαιδευτικών υποδομών του Ιδρύματος και, κατ’ επέκταση, στην υποστήριξη της ακαδημαϊκής του κοινότητας.
Η συμφωνία περιλαμβάνει τη δωρεάν διάθεση χρωμάτων για τη συντήρηση και αναβάθμιση των τοιχοποιιών της Σχολής Πολιτικών Μηχανικών. Η εφαρμογή των υλικών έχει ολοκληρωθεί δημιουργώντας ένα ανανεωμένο και ευχάριστο περιβάλλον για φοιτητές, διδάσκοντες και εργαζόμενους.
Με αφορμή τη δωρεά, πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 27/08/2025 συνάντηση μεταξύ του Πρύτανη του ΕΜΠ, κ. Ιωάννη Χατζηγεωργίου, και του CEO της VITEX, κ. Αρμόδιου Γιαννίδη, παρουσία της Κοσμήτορος της Σχολής Πολιτικών Μηχανικών κας. Ελένης Βλαχογιάννη. Κατά τη διάρκεια της συζήτησης, αναδείχθηκε η σημασία της συνεργασίας ακαδημαϊκής και επιχειρηματικής κοινότητας για την προώθηση της τεχνογνωσίας, της καινοτομίας και της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης.
Η επαφή μεταξύ του ΕΜΠ και της VITEX και η ευγενική δωρεά της εταιρείας εντάσσονται στο πλαίσιο των προτεραιοτήτων του ΕΜΠ για τη βελτίωση των υποδομών του και την ενίσχυση της ποιότητας της ακαδημαϊκής ζωής και επιβεβαιώνει τη δέσμευσή της VITEX να στηρίζει θεσμούς που αποτελούν θεμέλιο για την ανάπτυξη της χώρας.
Update regarding “Complete Renovation of the Old Student Residence in the NTUA Campus at Zografou”
Following the Decision of the NTUA Rectorate Board , dated 27.12.2022, regarding the project: “Total Renovation of the Old Student Residence in the NTUA Campus at Zografou” under the provisions of Law 3389/2005 on Public-Private Partnerships, and the subsequent Decision of the Interministerial Committee on Public-Private Partnerships dated 9.2.2023, approving the relevant application for inclusion, funding for the Advisors for ΣΔΙΤ was requested by the NTUA Administration, in accordance with Article 128 of Law 4412/16.
Funding for the Advisors for the joint venture was secured following the Decision of the NTUA Administrative Board dated 20.3.2025 regarding the feasibility of submitting a funding proposal, the Decision of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs & Sports dated 20.5.2025 concerning the inclusion of the project “Advisory Services for supporting NTUA up to the selection of the Private Partner for the project ΣΔΙΤ ‘Total Renovation of the Old Student Residence in the NTUA Campus at Zografou,’” and the Decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy & Finance dated 6.6.2025 concerning the inclusion of the Advisors’ funding in the Public Investment Development Program (PIP).
The funding amounts to €523,180.80 including VAT and covers Technical, Legal, and Financial-Technical Advisory Services for the preparation of tender documents and the draft Partnership Agreement, as well as support in the evaluation of bids until the signing of the contract for the project: “Total Renovation of the Old Student Residence in the NTUA Campus at Zografou.”
The budget for the Total Renovation of the Old Student Residence amounts to €49,095,038.52 including 24% VAT.

The National Technical University of Athens establishes the first Master’s Program in Greece on “Ship Performance Analysis and Management”
Greek Shipping, a global leader, is today called upon to respond to major challenges: improving energy efficiency, complying with increasingly strict environmental regulations, and harnessing the potential of digital technology.
In response to these needs, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and specifically the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, announces the establishment of the new Master’s Program (MSc) “Ship Performance Analysis and Management.” The program offers a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, addressing graduate engineers and professionals in the maritime sector who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills, acquiring cutting-edge expertise that combines academic training and applied research.
The program is scheduled to begin in February 2026. The duration of studies is three academic semesters and leads to a Master of Science (MSc) degree. The curriculum includes ten compulsory courses as well as the preparation of a master’s thesis, covering topics such as:
- hydrodynamics and energy efficiency,
- propulsion and fuel technologies,
- fleet operational data analysis and management,
- environmental regulations and compliance strategies,
- decarbonization and sustainable development.
The program has already been evaluated by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and received full accreditation, ranking in the highest evaluation tier. In its report, the External Evaluation Committee highlighted:
- the well-structured design and clear orientation of the program,
- the quality and international experience of the teaching staff,
- the close connection with the needs of Greek and global shipping,
- • its contribution to the education of professionals capable of supporting the sector’s green and digital transition.
With this new Master’s Program, NTUA reinforces its role as a center of excellence and innovation in naval engineering education and research, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of the competitiveness of Greek shipping in the international arena.

Dear first-year students of the National Technical University of Athens,
It is with great joy that I welcome you to our large Polytechnic community. And I do so, first and foremost, consciously, as one of the members of the NTUA family, to which you now also belong. You are, in fact, its newest and most dynamic part, and, naturally, by inheriting the great history of the Polytechnic, you will shoulder the paramount duty of advancing science and contributing to the development of our country, while at the same time enriching the reputation and tradition of our great School.
You deserve the warmest congratulations on your achievement, which was undoubtedly the result of hard work, personal sacrifices, and dedication to your goal. You are now entering a new period of your life, with less stress but with high expectations and many challenges, reasonable ambitions, and future aspirations. You have succeeded in being admitted to one of the nine Schools of the largest and oldest technological Institution in the country and, at the same time, the top-ranked University unit in Greece according to the official rankings of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education. NTUA exists primarily for you, its students, and it owes to you the high prestige and respect it enjoys from Greek society as a whole.
Your student years are a milestone in your life, and certainly not the final stop. They are also the time during which you will acquire the essential foundations for your future professional career. Make the most of this period and use it creatively and productively. Study, and also enjoy yourselves!
You have the privilege of being educated in facilities, laboratories, and spaces unique in the country and of being taught by leading teachers, scientists, and researchers in their fields. You will go through all the stages of education and be nurtured as engineers, so that you graduate with this qualification — a fact that will shape your personality and decisively influence your life.
Our Institution spares no effort in providing for its members, and naturally for its students. Take advantage of the environment in which you will be educated over the next five years. Visit and study in our Central Library, exercise in the fully equipped gym of the Polytechnic Campus, enjoy the green space we are privileged to have, make use of the student welfare services, the psychological support unit, the Technology Transfer Office, the Career Office, and the new NTUA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. Join one of the existing student groups, or even create a new one. The administration will be there to encourage and support you.
I must stress, however, that your time at the Polytechnic is not only linked to rights but also to obligations. The foremost of these is your obligation to yourselves: to be consistent and to complete your studies within the prescribed timeframe. It is also your duty to adhere to the rules of ethics and academic conduct that ensure the cohesion and smooth functioning of our Institution. In this context, you must show due respect — first and foremost to yourselves, but also to your fellow students, your teachers, and all staff members of the Institution, at every level, since they are here to serve you, and their work is directly linked to your sound education and future success. You are also obliged to respect and protect the environment in which you work, study, and are trained. The Polytechnic devotes significant resources to maintaining the functionality, orderliness, and cleanliness of its facilities, aiming to ensure a dignified environment, primarily for its students. Finally, you must respect the law and avoid actions that contravene its provisions. It will indeed be an undeniable sign of maturity and responsibility to embrace these principles, to safeguard them willingly, and to uphold them.
